This esthetics training course includes 325 hours of education and training in human anatomy, chemistry, electricity, skin analysis, and conditions and disorders of the skin to thoroughly prepare students for any experience they may come across as a professional esthetician. We provide comprehensive instruction on facial massage, the use of facial technology, hair removal practices, makeup artistry, lash tinting and full-body treatments. You will learn each of these skills, and more, in our student spa where you can perform them to gain valuable hands-on experience! Our cosmetology school has state-of-the-art facilities to ensure you have the tools and resources you need to succeed in our advanced skin care course.

Our esthetics classes include advanced topics as well. We will explore a variety of paramedical treatments and learn skin treatments that offer a wide range of benefits for all skin types. These include such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, enzyme treatments, Machine facials with galvanic and high frequency, HydraFacial, Microcurrent, Hot & Cold hammer, Ultrasonic skin scrubber, oxygen therapy and more! In our esthetics class, you will learn the purpose of each skin care treatment, the benefits, and the contraindications.

Upon completion of our advanced skin care class, students will receive a diploma from South Hills Beauty Academy! In addition to your diploma, you will also receive a certificate in DMK Fundamentals and a certificate in MUD (Make-Up Designory) Fundamentals.

For our Esthetics, Skin Care, & Makeup Course, students will study Milady’s Standard Esthetics Textbook with the Digital Interactive MILADY CIMA

When you enroll in our esthetics training program, you will receive two uniform sets, a kit that includes supplies and esthetics tools, a MUD make up Fundamentals Kit with certification, a paramedical DMK Skincare Kit, a Wax kit, a kit to learn body treatments. You will be equipped with all the necessary tools and materials needed to learn and perform esthetics services including Chemical peels, lash and brow tinting and advanced machine facials. These materials are included in the tuition cost.

Once students have completed our 325 esthetics class, including performing all required services, passing exams, and fulfilling all financial obligations to the school, they will be awarded a diploma from our cosmetology school, a DMK certificate, and a MUD Fundamentals certificate.
