Summer Skincare Tips
One of the most important things you can do for your skin during the summer is to stay hydrated. Drink lots of water and avoid sugary drinks that can dehydrate you. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables that are high in water content, such as cucumbers and watermelons. We also recommend using a light, oil-free moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated throughout the day.
Another important summer skincare tip is to wear sunscreen every day, even if you’re just going to be outside for a short period of time. Choose a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 and reapply it every few hours, especially if you’re sweating or swimming. Be sure to apply it to all exposed areas of skin, including your face, neck, ears, and hands.
Don’t forget to protect your lips from the sun’s harmful rays. Choose a lip balm or lipstick that contains sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15. Apply it generously and reapply it often, especially after swimming or sweating.
Try to stay out of the direct sunlight as much as possible during the summer months. If you must be outside for extended periods of time, make sure to wear loose-fitting clothing that covers your arms and legs. Also remember to wear a hat or visor to protect your face from the sun’s rays.
